What happens if the recipient isn’t home when a delivery is attempted?
Because we design with ultra-premium, fresh seasonal blooms, we never leave our custom floral arrangements exposed on a porch or doorstep if the recipient is not home. Louisiana’s intense summer heat, high humidity, and sudden afternoon downpours can severely damage delicate flowers within minutes.
To ensure our signature designs arrive in pristine condition, we follow a strict care-first delivery protocol:
We Attempt Direct Contact: If no one answers the door, our courier will immediately call or text the recipient using the phone number provided at checkout to see if they are nearby or have a preferred safe spot (such as a neighbor's house or a shaded, protected breezeway).
Neighborly Assistance: If we cannot reach the recipient directly, we will attempt to leave the arrangement with a close neighbor, provided they are home and willing to keep the flowers in an air-conditioned space until the recipient returns. We will leave a door tag and send a text notifying the recipient exactly which neighbor has their arrangement.
Safe Return to Studio: If no safe, indoor option is available, our driver will bring the flowers back to our climate-controlled studio for safekeeping. We will leave a delivery notice at the residence and contact the recipient to coordinate a complimentary second delivery window or a convenient studio pickup.
Pro Tip: To help us guarantee a seamless experience, please ensure you provide a valid phone number for the recipient during checkout so we can easily coordinate with them if they happen to step out.
